Extra -Curricular Activities

I, Lavanya D. P., parent of Varshika D., am very happy to share my overall experience at this school. MES Kishora Kendra School provides a safe and friendly environment along with good facilities. The management is also approachable and maintains good communication with parents.
I was impressed by the school’s positive culture and supportive environment. Students are encouraged to take part in academic, sports, art, quiz and cultural competitions. These competitions motivate students to develop their skills and perform to the best of their abilities. These events help build confidence, teamwork, and communication skills.

MES Kishora Kendra School is one of the most phenomenal school all over Karnataka. It is famous for its value-based education with cultural activities. The school is well equipped with spacious class rooms, highly qualified and trained teaching and non-teaching staff.
The centre of attraction in the school is Goddess Saraswathi temple at the entrance, which gives positive energy to all the students. The school day begins at 8:30 AM with the recitation of beautiful Slokas and Stuthi Manjari Shravanam. Pupils are encouraged to learn Sanskrit shlokas, bhajans, and devotional songs, fostering cultural knowledge and values.
In the classroom students are trained with good education. Students can borrow books from library to improve the reading techniques. Students are provided with smart board and projector facilities to get complete idea about all the concepts.
Students are trained with yoga and other physical activities to improve their mental ability. In school singing, dancing, Shlokas, Bhagavad Gita competition are conducted beautifully. Once in the year, ‘Kalavedi’ Programme is organised by MES Institution to encourage all the students to perform in various cultural and talent activities.

MES Kishora Kendra is an esteemed educational institution in North Bangalore. I am happy that I have opted this institution for my child. The Management in this school is very ambitious and supportive towards the all-round development of the student with the support of the experienced teachers. The school with conducting many cultural activities has been up bringing many talents. My son is one of them. Not just the cultural activities, but the school provides great prominence for discipline and building the character of the students. As the school has periodic parent-teacher meetings, we parents are well informed about performance and behavior of our children. Kids are encouraged to interact, and they respect their teachers showing good progress in all areas. The most impressed is kids are learned to respect people, continue to uphold their traditions, and maintain the values passed on from generations. Learning starts from Home, but I always believe that learning starts from School more than a Home. Being a working woman, I always find difficult to maintain school activities and work, but I was so comfortable as both the teachers Vinutha and Sunitha took care of my son so well that I never felt that I was missing his activities. We have witnessed massive and exponential development in my son Gannath S Karwar Class: LKG B section. My special thanks to Head Mistress Jyothi who advised us to give more important to his learning activities rather than writing she explained so well that we both as parents understood how much activities are important than writing in book. MES KISHORA KENDRA, the school where my son is studying from past 10 years and my daughter from past 6 years, is in my opinion, one of the best in the Malleshwaram. Initially I choose this school as it is conveniently located at a distance of 200 meters from our residence. Being a working woman distance was my primary concern while choosing the school for my children.
In this school parents are made key contributors in major decisions concerning the children and their voices are heard. We as parents are very satisfied with the school system, co-operative nature of the teachers and moral values and principles of the school in general.
We always felt that school is committed to providing a warm and nurturing environment for the children. Here my children got ample opportunities to explore and progress in both academic and co-curricular activities. The school has been successful in achieving the balance between the two, helping in overall development of my children.
This school adopts a child centered education rather than a teacher centered one. Here all the teachers care about the children and try to bring out the best from them. I always admired their dedication, enthusiasm and commitment.
Finally, the chanting of shlokas and Bhagavadgeeta during the assembly, moral education classes which help to shape the very nature of children, yoga classes, reading sessions in library and e-library facility getting extended to the holidays are the best part of the school, which will be remembered for long.
